ClearBlue Easy OPT
This product is really great. I highly recommend it for your attempts to conceive. I also recommend you purchase two kits and use the tests for a 10 day window of your “fertile” week. I had a positive test for two consecutive days when ovulation occured on the 17th & 18th day of my cycle. I had always assumed ovulation based upon the “14th” day of a cycle. It was a real eye opener espically when used in conjunction with the book, “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” by Toni Weschler, MPH.

The proof is in the pregnancy…
For several months, we made what we thought were educated guesses about the “best days” to conceive, and we were disappointed each month. We were just starting to worry when our OB nurse suggested we use the Clearblue Easy tests to take the mystery out of the process. ["After all, you're not getting any younger." So glad she pointed that out....]

Lady Comp battery
I have had and used the Lady Comp for a couple of yeas. It did help us for a couple of months avoid a pregnancy due to health issues. However it failed to recognize my tubal pregnancy which was getting far along and I was rushed into surgery. Also the battery no longer holds a charge and customer service has yet to help me on this issue. My friends use other monitors that are less expensive $20 and work just as well.

Just Fantastic!
I am a guy, and I have been researching natural contraceptive methods for a while now, and was highly disapointed with what I found, until I found out about the lady comp.

The lady comp is 99.3% effective, that’s about as good as any birth control. I have heard people say, “My parents used the temp. method and had 4 kids.”

Let me tell you folks, this is not the temp. method your parents used, this is the natural temp. contraceptive of the 21st century that has gone through, EXTENSIVE testing.

I have been using this with my gf for about 2 years, and we have not had one pregnancy scare.

The only thing is that you have to use protection during the yellow and red days, or refrain from intercourse, but other than that, the green lights are all good.

On her green days, I don’t use condoms, and she has not gotten pregnant, so I have put it to the test.

I do admit, that the up front 500 price tag is a bit steep, but you make payments on it. I know people who spend 500 on their i-phone, something that will be obsolete in a year. This is a lifetime purchase, AND you don’t have to worry about your women increasing the risks of cysts and ovarian cancer, there are enough women with cancer out there already. If you don’t have much money, get the pearly instead, it’s about 200 dollars cheaper, and performs the same function. Also, if and when you decide to have a baby, you can use the device to know when your girl is ovulating and have sex then to increase chances of impregnation.

It’s not nice to trick mother nature, and that’s what birth control does. It’s better to work with the natural cycles of your womans body with out putting her health at risk.

Love it!!
Amazing lil machine. I highly recommend to all females. I’ve been using my Lady Comp for 8 months now. My husband loves to see those green lights and I love not having to take anything hormonal and I don’t have to deal with any side effects. It doesn’t take long before taking your temp each morning becomes second nature and you don’t even have to think about it anymore. I feel more in control of my fertility now that I am able to track my cycle. Using LadyComp for 20 months
We’ve used our LadyComp for 20 months now and we couldn’t be happier. Yes - I said ‘WE’. I am always amazed at the accuracy of this little machine…. I love how it calmly keeps track of my cycle while I’m in a complete panic. (Admit it - it happens to all of us.)

Highly Recommend.
I purchased this produt at the end of August and I got pregnant the first month of using these sticks. I still have a ton left over because I purchased 40. Highly recommend.

These don’t work
I ordered these hoping to save some money.I kept getting negative results from these. If not for my ultrasounds at the Doctor’s office, I would not have known that I was going to ovulate. I almost missed it because of these.

No LH Suge detected
We used this Ovulation kit and it did not detect the LH surge however at the same time Answer ovulation detection kit reported positive.

Great Deal

Conceived the first month using this monitor!
My husband and I are so happy we bought this monitor. We used this monitor the first month we started trying to conceive, and I got pregnant the first month using this monitor! I am now 15 weeks pregnant! This monitor helped us identify my high and peak fertility days. This monitor also identified that I ovulated on cycle day 20. If I had not used this monitor, I would have thought I ovulated on cycle day 14. I am so happy that we decided to purchase this monitor, and I highly recommend the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor!

what happend?
Hello ladies, this is my first time using the Clearblue fertility monitor and up until this morning I was loving it! Today my monitor read day 15 when day 15 was yesterday did this happen to anyone? If so what did you do to get back on track?

Useful for learning more about your cycle, but it’s not a magic wand.
Pros

This is a terrific tool for helping you understand your cycle, most especially if yours is irregular. It took me about a month to wrap my brain around it, even with the user manual. But it’s easy to use once you understand how it works.

Cons

1. The monitor does not adapt well to travel and time zone changes. When you set the system at the start of your cycle, you get a fixed window of a few hours during which you need to do the test. If you have to travel far away during your cycle, your new window might end up being at 4pm at your new location and make accurate testing impossible. This isn’t good for business travel. It also fell off of my bathroom counter one night and the batteries came out. Somehow that re-set the test window to later in the day and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. That ruined a month’s worth of data and was frustrating.

2. Unless you are on a textbook regular cycle, one box does not equal three months of testing; it’s more like one-and-a-half. I think the “all sticks must be from the same box” instruction is bogus and is designed to get you to spend more money. The company should be able to guarantee quality and consistency. Buy several boxes at once, so you have a lot of sticks from the same manufacture date ready to go. As far as I’ve found over eight months, Amazon has the best prices around and stocks the newest test sticks. For budgeting, plan on spending about $20 per month just on the sticks alone.

3. Inconsistent data. This could just be me, but some months I’d get six “high fertility” days, and some months I’d get none at all. The inconsistency of data is frustrating, especially if you travel during your testing time.

New or used?

Could you buy a used one? You could, if you want. The monitor says it stores your history so it can adjust its measurements to fit your cycle…but the user manual says there’s a way to erase the history and start over again. As for sanitation, I don’t care what anybody says, but at some point the previous user got a drop of urine on it somewhere. If the seller swaps it down with sanitizer, the buyer wipes it down with sanitizer as well, and the buyer and feels comfortable with the whole idea, then go for it. Personally, I’d buy a new one, but opinions differ.

I’ve had it for 8 months, and I haven’t gotten pregnant yet. Just using it and learning your cycles does not guarantee that you’ll get pregnant. It’s helpful and I’d still recommend buying it, but keep your expectations in check. It’s not a magic wand, even if you get the numbers right.

Wasted my money
I used the Clearblue Easy monitor for a few months. It showed that I was ovulating but we had no luck. So I decided to see a reproductive specialist who discovered that I can not ovulate naturally.

So I’m not sure what this monitor was measuring, if anything, or if it was just counting days (which I can do myself) but it completely misrepresented high and peak fertility.

Warning, Does NOT come with test sticks!
I had recently ordered this product and had it rushed to me due to the time sensitive nature of using it correctly. I must say that this is indeed the best price at $135 since most drug stores charge around $180! However, unless I missed something glaring, I was disappointed to find that after my expedited 2-day shipping the product arrived without sticks! I believe that this should be very clearly noted and all I saw was small white print on the box after I opened it. It would have helped to know that the machine is literally useless without the sticks or to have at least a “starter kit” of them for this price! I am hoping that it does work for me and while I cannot yet rate the product itself I wanted to help others avoid making the same error I did. When you get to the point of ordering this kind of product, nobody wants to “waste” a month.

Not what was pictured
Horrible! 3 of the items were not what was pictured! the only 2 were the condoms (thankfully they werent outdated) and the rabbit. The waterwand is plain solid red and ugly SO different than pictured. The Bullet was a double… I only wanted a single! and the handy messager was a different color.. which is fine. I don’t mind about that. but seriously, SEND OUT WHAT IS PICTURED!!! Not cool. Its all crap I tell you.

Best Lube ever made
This lube is by far the best Ive ever tried! It does not smell, it crazy slippery and its not sticky. Ive tried it with several different types of condoms, the most recent one being the Lifestyle Skyn and its like not having a condom on at all. It comes in two bottles, I have the plasic version because im worried I may drop and break the glass one, this stuff is really slippery. The twist cap isnt so bad but you can lose the top cover that goes on it after awhile so its better that it twist to lock and keep from spilling. This stuff last for as long as you need it too and is good for exploring other areas also.

best product I have tried for this purpose
After trying several other products this one seems to be superior and I will continue to buy it. It does a much better job than KY jelly or Astro Glide.

Condom Love
I hate condoms. Thats the truth. But Id rather be safe than sorry & abstinence is not an option. So, that brings me to the trojan, ultra thin spermicidal lubricated condom. These are the best condoms I have ever used. In my life. These are the best condoms on the market.
